How do I convert a video to a blog article?

Just grab the YouTube URL of your video and on our home page , paste it into the box and click "Create Free Article". Simple!

Will the AI content be detected and penalized by Google / search engines?

Short answer: No, it won't be penalized. Google has stated clearly that they don't care if it's AI, as long as the content is high quality.

What does "high quality" mean? Simply put, it means real people are reading and finding your content helpful. Google's job is to help a person get their question answered.

If a person goes to your website and leaves quickly, Google considers your content poor quality. On the other hand, if the person stays on your website and engages, Google considers this high quality and your rankings will increase.

What technology are you using to generate these articles?

We custom coded several technologies to generate these results. On the AI side we are using the framework LangChain to integrate, observe, and fine-tune LLMs to generate the high quality blog posts you see today.

To deliver fast performance we've chosen a serverless approach, which means our database, server, and frontend are distributed on the edge. This allows the data to be served to you from the closest location possible reducing round trip latency.

We've also chosen to serve the website with hybrid rendering so that parts of the app are server-side rendered (SSR) while others parts are client side. This improves both performance and security.

What is the average word count per article?

Average is 1500 words, up to 4000. For very short videos it can be as low as 800-1000, but we always try to get it to at least this level to give a well rounded feeling to the article. If you want to change the word count after initial generation, the Editing Panel offers an option to lengthen or shorten your article.

If your video is very lacking in content, we've tuned our AI to abstract the topic and provide some common talking points the reader is likely to search up (this improves SEO).

What is the max duration of a video I can input?

It depends on the plan you are on. Our highest plan can process up to 7 hour long videos. We are currently experimenting with up to 16 hour videos, so if you have a need for a plan beyond the available Enterprise plans, please send us a message .

What do I get in the 7 day free trial?

You get all the features listed in the plan you selected for the free trial, but with limited credits. During this free trial you get a total of 12 credits, including any credits used as a guest/free plan user within the last 30 days. This is to limit abuse of free trials. After the 7 day period your credits will be refreshed to the normal limit provided by your plan.

Are there any restricted videos topics?

Videos that are overtly sexual, violent, or illegal cannot be generated. If you find that you are getting an error "Content not found" and you believe your video is not discussing any of these restricted topics, please send us a message and we will manually review it.

Also, videos with little or no words cannot be processed, as Video Blog AI will lack enough context to create a full length blog article.

What languages do you support other than English?

You can upload videos in over 100 languages including Spanish, French, German, Dutch, and more. Upon initial generation, the article will usually be in english. After that you can translate it to a different language via the Editing Panel.

Can I use someone else's video to generate my blog post?

We recommend you ask their permission or partner with them as they spent time and effort creating this original content.

Can I edit the blog article?

Yes, we have an Editing Panel below the article where you can select a variety of features to edit your article with. If you require changing specific words, you can export it as HTML or text, then change it however you like.

How do I export my blog?

After you generate the blog post, on the top right corner of the page, click "Export" to copy it to clipboard as HTML or text. Then paste it anywhere with Ctrl+V.

Note that "Copy Text" will not include the SEO benefits of HTML tags, so make sure you add in the proper HTML yourself if you decide to copy only the text.

How do I import my blog article into Wordpress?

After generating the article, click "Copy HTML" and log into your Wordpress account. Go to Posts, click Add New, and on the top right corner click the three dots menu and select "Code Editor". Here you can paste in the code into the text area. Then click the three dots menu again and click on "Visual Editor" to see visual result.

Afterwards, you can move the title from the text area up to the title field to make it look neater. Here is a nice tutorial on how to do all of the above.

Can I share my generated blog article with others?

Yes, simply click the Share button on the top right of the generated post to create a public link, and share that URL to your friends.

Can I generate blog posts from non YouTube videos?

Not at the moment. We recommend if you want to use a private video, you can upload it as unlisted on YouTube to get the URL, then paste the URL into Video Blog AI.

What does "X credits per month" mean for each plan?

It means you can generate up to X number of blog posts per month. You can also use credits to make AI-driven edits to the article after it's been generated. They get refreshed every month and unused credits do not carry over.

What does "X minute max duration per video" mean for each plan?

It means you can input videos up to that video duration that speak at an average of 200 words or less per minute. The average native speaker talks at 150 words per minute, so this should allow for almost all videos.

What does "X user(s)" mean for each plan?

It means you can have X number of users in your organization. For plans that allow more than 1 user, the original user can invite other users into their organization and set them as an Admin or Member. Admins have full access to the organization's settings and billing, while Members can only generate articles.

How come I didn't get a free trial?

Free trials are only for new customers. If the checkout page didn't show a free trial, it means you've already received one before. If the checkout page shows $0 for balance due today, that means you will receive a free trial. Free trials are not included for Custom / Enterprise plans.

How can I upgrade / downgrade my plan?

When logged in, click "Upgrade Plan" at the top, then select a different plan. You will be prorated whatever remaining time you have. If you upgrade, the balance due will be discounted. If you downgrade, you will receive credits for the dollar value based on how much time you had left in the previous billing cycle. These credits will lower the cost of your next billing cycles. How do I cancel my subscription?

While we're sorry to see you go, canceling is easy. Simply log in and click on "Billing" at the top, then edit your plan and click "Cancel". You can optionally provide feedback, which we take very seriously so please share what you'd like improved!

What is your refund policy?

For Custom / Enterprise plans, we offer a 7-day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you can request a refund within 7 days of your first payment.

For Basic, Pro, and Ultimate plans, as we offer a free trial, we do not offer refunds after the free trial ends. You can cancel at any time and you will not be billed again.

How do I see previous invoices and payments?

When logged in, click on "Billing" at the top and you will be able to view your previous payments. Note that for multi-member organizations, you must have an Admin role to view billing.

How do I change my credit card / billing information?

When logged in, click on "Billing" at the top and edit it inside the billing portal.
